Train Falmouth - Deal

Hello
 How are you today?

So Less than a week away from Christmas, How excited is everyone?

So as everybody knows, I live in Falmouth during my university terms, Which is great and cornwall is such a beautiful place, but never mind how happy or content I am at university , it is the best feeling ever when you know you can go home to the Loved ones and Pets, as well as dinners being cooked and heating on when you wake up, and even carpet in-between your toes first thing in the morning.

But to get home I have a eight hour train journey with three changes one of which is going on the underground in London.

With this as my luggage:

Bare in mind this suitcase is up to my hips maybe a bit higher and in width is a lot wider than me.
(PANIC MODE)

The first time I tired to pick this case up and my two bags was the morning I was leaving, which was about half seven in the morning, I didn't realise how heavy it actually was, to get out my flat I had to go down two flights of stairs and up a massive hill to the station, I knew that without my suitcase it takes me 15 minutes to get to the nearest station, which I thought I would give myself half an hour, But me being excited and panicking about the day ahead I was ready an hour before my first train, luckily I left then and in fact it took me 50 mins to get all the way up the hill.

*Sigh, thought this must be my good luck for the day*

My First train was a short train which someone very kindly helped me on and off with my case then I had to go over the bridge to my platform to get to the train I was on for Five Hours. I booked seats for this train as it is a busy London train. My tickets were booked for priority seats which meant lots of leg room! which again a bit of luck.

I sat a read Grazia and drunk a very cheap energy drink (which is very unhealthy) I love train journeys when there is no stress of leaving your seat and can chill out.

This was my view going in to Plymouth, All the way to London the views are so beautiful!

Then it was getting to the last couple of hours of this long journey so I decided I better read through the projects Ive got to do while home, made myself a little timetable.

Before I knew it, it was time for me to cross London, all I can say is this was a nightmare
I went the wrong way a couple of times, tubes were running late, no escalators no lifts, so i had to carry my case up the flights of stairs :( worst nightmare.

Finally I crossed London and managed to get on my final train with second to spare.

*sigh*

Honey I'm Home.

Finally I was home and my Sister and Dog was sat on look out waiting for my arrival.

I am so happy to be home and after that crazy, hard, emotional, stressful journey. I got to go and meet my boyfriend from work and have a lovely meal out with my parents.

Oh isn't it good to be home.

Are any of you taking on big journeys to get to your loved ones for christmas? Id love to hear about it!

Thank you for reading.

Love Jade.
