Home Time

Hello.

So If you didn't know I have come home for the Easter holidays! Which Is great I love being home with all my loved ones just chilling out! With no work worries at all!

So This weekend I have been pretty busy haven't really had much time to do any blogging, I have been shopping twice out for a lovely walk, and out for two meals so been very spoiled and busy!

So now I am going to post them randomly through out the week as don't want to bombard you with loads and loads of posts!

So my train was so packed they let all of us standing go into first class, so I had a lovely two hour journey in the most amazingly comfy chair with all the leg room in the world and a massive table.

I was greeted at the O2 by Jack with this lovely bag for my birthday, We went for lunch in blue water and a quick little walk around then drove home!

Now I am all settled in with all the family all unpacked and enjoying the company of this big guy and the rest of the family!

Hope you have all had a lovely weekend and can't wait for you to read about mine!

Love Jade.

Cornflake Cakes!

Hello

Hope you have had a great week!

So today me a my flatmate thought it was going to be lovely and hot. So we headed to the beach, hoping for a relaxing afternoon in the sun.

So as you can see it wasn't as hot as we first excepted so decided best option was going to the cute seaside cafe for a hot drink and then we headed back!
As I was celebrating my birthday that night and I felt a bit eastery we decided to make Cornflake Cakes!!

Of course we had to use the Cutest of cases!

Being student these were very budgeted cakes but were just as yummy!

They are very quick and easy to make! first of all I separated the cases so they were ready, Then broke up the chocolate in bowls ready for melting!

Then the melting, If your doing it in the microwave like we did, I recommend that you do for 30 seconds a time, It may seem to be taking ages, but then It just quickly melts!

Time to mix in the cornflakes, at first you feel like there won't be enough chocolate but then if you keep mixing they will get coated!

All ready for the cases! But I would personally just eat this for breakfast still nice and warm!
*yum yum yummy*

Time to lick the bowl clean! (Favourite job!)

Then there we have it, a very quick and simply little recipe!

These were very nice to shove in a box and have as a treat on my travels home, While your reading this Ill be on the train home. so hope you have enjoyed a little treat!

Birthday at Zizzi's

Hello.

So last night we celebrated my Birthday and end of term! Which was great fun.
I really enjoyed myself, I enjoyed myself that much I forgot to take pictures! Silly me! But here is what I do have from the night!

Here is my outfit, Very quick and blurry sorry! (All iPhone Snaps)

I wore my dog tooth pencil skirt with a silk top (tucked in) and converse with an over sized suit jacket! with a scarf for the way there.

I have never been to Zizzi's before, it was very cute and the menus were cute, I don't no how I decided!

I couldn't not take a picture of these cute little Oil Cans, I thought they were very decorative, creative way of serving the olive and spicy Oils!

Here is my very yummy main, I did have a bread bucket to start but was so hungry forgot to take a picture! hehe!

As you can see I had lasagna like I do every where I go! With an apple juice!

Was a very lovely night thank you for turning up!

Now time I should really pack as I leave tomorrow morning at 6:45!
I haven't even planned as what to take back for the month!

thank you for reading!

Latest Project!

Hello

So as you know its my hand-in today for my Real Clothes Project - Soft Tailoring.

I AM DONE & FREE!

All finished and I am two and a half hours early bonus! Which means I can use the lovely iMacs at university!
*Please someone buy me one*

So Here are some images of my work!

The original research was about dark beauty, so I thought I didn't want to go too deep into this bit and started looking at Photographers which used quite a Gothic theme. Then I was thinking about how some of us think corsets are really pretty and feminine but then on the other hand they are quite dark in the sense of your bone structure will adapt and back in the day you didn't get the choice if you wanted to, everyone did!

*Torture!*

Then we had our first Seminar on this brief which he went it to a very dark place of fashion, fashion photography. I did not enjoy this I found it very disturbing but I wanted to include a little bit in my sketch book!

We had to pick six images that represented beauty in our eyes, mine are these 6. I have a cross between pure nature and landscapes with a cross of man made, with a sense of travel and sense of history. These images are very similar and all interlink to me! Two of my images are from a old shut down Mental Hospital, Which I find really pleasing to the eye with the harsh and soft lines.
*It was after I found the images that I realised what it was*

Zero, Maria Cornejo.
We were giving a list of designers to choose from which would be who we was designer our 2015 AW Collection for. I loved Maria's work she is all about the pattern cutting which is what I am interested in, I feel like I could bring a lot to the brand which was exciting. I went on with mtg research by looking at loads of her collections old and new to really get a feel of her work. I looked into the website to find the price range I also looked at some "Real People" wearing her clothing. Then also some famous!

Bearing in mind this is a soft tailoring project I looked at different designers that to tailoring in unique ways, I wanted to take a different approach, but keeping in with the soft tailoring. I filled a whole sketch book with different designers!

So with my design process an important part was the soft and harsh lines from my images which I wanted to include, I traced over my images then applied people over the top to think about shapes and lines which really helped me. Taking on board Maria Cornejo's design work and inspiration I really wanted to think about the pattern cutting so from my final designs I picked four of the most difficult designs and made little paper versions!

Maria Cornejo's also manipulates iPhone snaps and create prints which I really enjoy doing too. I have created a few as an example. In my 6 Outfit collection I didn't want to include any as I feel it would have been too much, but If I was able to do a bigger collection one or two would fit in well.

This project has been on fast forward I think. I can't even remember ever sitting down let alone sleeping. I have really enjoyed this project and feel like I have found my self within the work!

20th...

Hellooooo!!

(Baby Me)

So who ever knows me will know that its my 20th Birthday today :D

As you know I am at University so when I received this Yesterday It was very hard to hold in my excitement in!

Without having parents here stopping me or being with me while I opened it I don't no how I managed to wait till this morning!

So When I Opened my box I was so shocked to see actual presents wrapped up! I thought It would be little bits but as a Pre birthday box (As I am celebrating with family next saturday!) I think I have been spoiled, Naughty Mum & Dad < Hope they read this!

So after realising how many cards I actually had, I opened them before presents. Which way do you do? Presents or cards? I love cards, I think they are amazing with all the colours and all the pink of course! , and even the funny ones! Jacks mum bought me the Pug one, I love it, After my birthday I might even frame it, She really does no me too well!

So then it was time to empty the content of my box and open it all, I love this wrapping paper! I love the cute little "Special Daughter" Me to You Bear! so cute and the birthday cake! How amazing is that! Perfect for one!

Nawwww!

So here is was I received! I love it all, I have a Jumper, a navy lace dress *Perfect for Saturday Night* and two long sleeved t-shirts! which are so comfy and cosy, I'll do some outfit posts with them very soon!

Here are few other little bits! I have been wanting a wooden love heart like this for ages!

*Excited Giggles!*

So after all that unwrapping and getting all excited while I was still in bed unfortunately as Im an adult and live away from home it was my job to tidy away the messy wrappers *Thank you Mum for doing this every year* Then it was time for a shower and head out!

So for my birthday I decided to wear something simple and comfy! I wore my Levis with my new Jumper!

Also this morning I managed to paint my nails as well! Very nice little pamper morning!

Already to go out for Breakfast!

So yes Jack knows how much I love a McDonalds Breakfast Meal and sent me a £5 to treat myself to one on my birthday morning, which to be honest is one of the best Birthday present I could ask for, I love them!

So I know its my Birthday but I still have a hand in on Monday so couldn't really avoid going into Uni but wasn't there long and on a nice day like this who can knock anything!

My Cake!

So as its my birthday its ok to eat cake as lunch isn't it?
Well too late already have and it was amazing!
