Teaching My Sister to Knit

Hello. 

So every time I get the chance or a free couple of days I like to make the most of it and visit loved ones back home, Yes that is proving difficult this year because I am a lot busier and spending a lot more money on my final collection but I still try my hardest! 

The women of our family love a good cuppa in lovely local coffee shops, We have a costa in town but prefer the family run, cute, little ones, it also means you get more for your money and investing back into the town.

Oh I forgot to mention we usually go around 1 O'Clock so before I don't fancy lunch as I normally eat then, but the walk into town always makes me want a cake, and nearly always we all have a slice of something. 

So one day we was disguising my future and how I love knitting, I could of even been knitting in the coffee shop, as that has happened more than once. 

My sister said she fancied it, probably not realising that I would go through with my word and teach her! So from coffee that day we went on to buy knitting needles and a chunky yarn each to knit a simple scarf!

So as a knitter could see, She had no idea how to hold the needles at first! Haha

Nicola picked it up very quick hers was the cream one, We sat for hours chatting over knit it was a lovely way to spend and make time for each other.

Yay, We both finished our scarfs, we knitting along side each other and was great as both finished same time. We both really loved this project.

Maybe next time I will teach her to make a jumper? Maybe if we start now we could knit a Christmas jumper!

So I would love to start a knitting club, I have seen a club in Falmouth Town its in a little tea room, And advertises Knitting Club, From 2pm every Tuesday and Thursday?  See Id love to go and think I'd really enjoy it but will I be the youngest and are ones like that any good?

A Big Change

Hello

During the summer my Family and I received some very heart breaking news. Im not going to post about it online as the people involved might not want that but this very bad time inspired me to do better for others.

I went for a dramatic change,
Well for me at the time it was a big step but I am so glad I did it.

 

 

I sent my hair off to The Little Princess Trust! The thought of my hair being used to make a little girls life easier to deal with is a big deal for me as I couldn't imagine what it would be like to go through the normal issues with school let alone with this on top of all the other minor girl issues.

I would recommend any one with long hair to do this. It is such a good cause and really what do you need all that hair for?

Ive read so many and love how personal they are, you feel like you've known the person behind the context you read all the time.

1. WERE YOU NAMED AFTER ANYONE?  Nope, Well not that I know off.

2. WHEN WAS THE LAST TIME YOU CRIED?  Honestly, Two nights ago, I normally don't cry ever but now I'm back at university I am extremely home sick so its becoming a daily routine.

3. DO YOU LIKE YOUR HANDWRITING?  Sometimes, if I am taking my time.

4. WHAT IS YOUR FAVOURITE MEAT?  Chicken!

5. DO YOU HAVE KIDS?  Nope.

6. IF YOU WERE ANOTHER PERSON WOULD YOU BE FRIENDS WITH YOU?  Yes defiantly! 

7. DO YOU USE SARCASM A LOT?  I can be at times, when I am in a silly mood but only really sarcastic with loved ones that would know I in a silly mood.

8. DO YOU STILL HAVE YOUR TONSILS?  Yes, unfortunately as they are always up. 

9. WOULD YOU BUNGEE JUMP?  Nope.

10. WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE CEREAL?  Special K, The ones with chocolate!

12. DO YOU THINK YOU ARE STRONG?  Physically, No its actually really embarrassing, but mentally very strong. 

13. WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE ICE CREAM?  I don't really like IceCream, Too cold haha, But would be strawberry flavour when I do have it.

14. WHAT IS THE FIRST THING YOU NOTICE ABOUT PEOPLE?  Eyes or Hair I think.

16. WHAT IS THE LEAST FAVORITE THING ABOUT YOURSELF?  My face shape, Cubby checks, and odd lips!  

17. WHO DO YOU MISS THE MOST?  All my Family, Which means close family of mine and Jacks and his close family, But to me they are all one big family and if I ever mention Family on my blog I mean both unless otherwise stated! 

18. FAVOURITE TV SHOW? Hollyoaks!! 

19. WHAT COLOR SHOES ARE YOU WEARING?  Slippers, which are red white and pink booties! 

20. WHAT WAS THE LAST THING YOU ATE?  Plain Rice, Boring I know! I had a sweet and sour sauce in the fridge so put rice on got the sauce out realised it was out of date, but didn't want to waste my rice!

21. WHAT ARE YOU LISTENING TO RIGHT NOW?  Frozen Soundtrack! 

22. IF YOU WERE A CRAYON, WHAT COLOR WOULD YOU BE?  Pink! 

23. FAVORITE SMELLS?  Probably fresh rain, or freshly cut grass.

24. WHO WAS THE LAST PERSON YOU TALKED TO ON THE PHONE?  Paying my rent to Townsend! 

25. MOUNTAIN HIDEAWAY OR BEACH HOUSE?  Ohh thats a hard one, Probably a beach house for the sun!

New Beginnings!

Hello. 

So as you can see my last post was March last year! 

I can hear you all tutting I know that is bad Evan for my standards. 

I set up this blog claiming I was going to be posting fashion and university based posts! With limiting myself to a subject I limited myself! I felt like this was a job or I was being marked or judged! 

This was supposed to be a enjoyable relaxing time for me! 

So now the only claim I am going to make is that, this blog is going to be part of my life, so I can look back at all the memories in one place! There's going to be a variety of posts of what ever I am feeling like at the time! 

So let's get to the chase...

So in the last Ten months of not blogging I have been very busy with moving flats, enjoying a lovely summer holiday and starting 3rd Year! 

3rd year is busier than I ever prepared and expected! But I am loving the challenging task and quick moving project! Time is running away with me which isn't always too much of a bad thing! 

Instagram is where I am mostly post and is always up to date! 

So here my feed from the last week! I have had a busy week with being back at uni and missing family, with a final collection to make and a dissertation hanging over my shoulders! So watching Frozen, having beautiful Daffodils to look at, early nights and friends to share a lovely breakfast with is very much accepted.

Home Time

Hello.

So If you didn't know I have come home for the Easter holidays! Which Is great I love being home with all my loved ones just chilling out! With no work worries at all! 

So This weekend I have been pretty busy haven't really had much time to do any blogging, I have been shopping twice out for a lovely walk, and out for two meals so been very spoiled and busy! 

So now I am going to post them randomly through out the week as don't want to bombard you with loads and loads of posts! 

So my train was so packed they let all of us standing go into first class, so I had a lovely two hour journey in the most amazingly comfy chair with all the leg room in the world and a massive table. 

 I was greeted at the O2 by Jack with this lovely bag for my birthday, We went for lunch in blue water and a quick little walk around then drove home! 

Now I am all settled in with all the family all unpacked and enjoying the company of this big guy and the rest of the family!

Cornflake Cakes!

Hello

Hope you have had a great week! 

So today me a my flatmate thought it was going to be lovely and hot. So we headed to the beach, hoping for a relaxing afternoon in the sun. 

So as you can see it wasn't as hot as we first excepted so decided best option was going to the cute seaside cafe for a hot drink and then we headed back! 

As I was celebrating my birthday that night and I felt a bit eastery we decided to make Cornflake Cakes!! 

Of course we had to use the Cutest of cases! 

Being student these were very budgeted cakes but were just as yummy! 

They are very quick and easy to make! first of all I separated the cases so they were ready, Then broke up the chocolate in bowls ready for melting! 

Then the melting, If your doing it in the microwave like we did, I recommend that you do for 30 seconds a time, It may seem to be taking ages, but then It just quickly melts! 

Time to mix in the cornflakes, at first you feel like there won't be enough chocolate but then if you keep mixing they will get coated! 

All ready for the cases! But I would personally just eat this for breakfast still nice and warm!

Time to lick the bowl clean! (Favourite job!)

Then there we have it, a very quick and simply little recipe! 

These were very nice to shove in a box and have as a treat on my travels home, While your reading this Ill be on the train home. so hope you have enjoyed a little treat!

Birthday at Zizzi's

Hello.

So last night we celebrated my Birthday and end of term! Which was great fun. 

I really enjoyed myself, I enjoyed myself that much I forgot to take pictures! Silly me! But here is what I do have from the night! 

Here is my outfit, Very quick and blurry sorry! (All iPhone Snaps)

I wore my dog tooth pencil skirt with a silk top (tucked in) and converse with an over sized suit jacket! with a scarf for the way there. 

I have never been to Zizzi's before, it was very cute and the menus were cute, I don't no how I decided! 

I couldn't not take a picture of these cute little Oil Cans, I thought they were very decorative, creative way of serving the olive and spicy Oils! 

Here is my very yummy main, I did have a bread bucket to start but was so hungry forgot to take a picture! hehe! 

As you can see I had lasagna like I do every where I go! With an apple juice! 

Was a very lovely night thank you for turning up! 

Now time I should really pack as I leave tomorrow morning at 6:45! 

I haven't even planned as what to take back for the month!
